A first edition of Little Dorrit with illustrations by H. K. Browne. The story was originally published in serial form between 1855 and 1857 and this is the first edition in book form. With first edition points of: three line Errata on page xiv; William instead of Frederick on page 317 line 27; B2 instead of BB2 on pp. 371; and Rigaud for Blandois on pp. 469, 470, 472, and 473. Bound in half morocco and raised bands at the spine with mild rubbing on the boards. Brown marbled endpapers in very good condition. Tissue guard for frontpiece illustration is intact. Age toning with minimal foxing throughout the book. 8vo
