Maugham, W. Somerset
William Somerset Maugham, ( Jan. 25, 1874 – Dec. 16, 1965,) was an English novelist, playwright, and short-story writer. He was a popular and successful novelist of the period. He gained literary recognition with his novels such as, The Razor’s Edge, Cakes and Ale and The Moon and Sixpence.
