A good association copy of The Wrong Box, with a bookplate of the producer and director, Bryan Forbes on the pastedown. The black comedy was successfully adapted into a star studied film in 1966 directed by Forbes, starring John Mills, Michael Caine, Ralph Richardson, Nanette Newman, Tony Hancock, Peter Sellers, Peter Cook and Dudley Moore.
Original red cloth boards with gilt and black lettering on the spine and covers. Fading of the spine colour. Stains to the covers and wear to the edges and corners. Bleaching spots on the rear cover. Bumping of the corners. Bookplate on the front end paper. Foxing and spotting of the pages. Front hinge is lightly weak. 8vo 283 pp plus 16 pages of advertisments.
