A first edition of the illustrated, The Son of Tarzan, with a signature insert of the actor, Jonny Weissmuller, who played Tarzan in 12 films from 1932-1948 following his retirement from Olympic swimming. Weissmuller went on to star in sixteen Jungle Jim films over an eight-year period, and 26 additional half-hour episodes of The Jungle Jim Series. The Son of Tarzan was the 3rd of Weissmuller Tarzan films and the 4th book in the series by E. R Burroughs.
