This first edition of James Bond plot, For Special Services,is written by John Gardener. He followed the footsteps of Ian Fleming’s as granted by the literary copyright holders of 007, Gildrose Publications. The volume is complete with dust jacket and is in a good/v good condition. Jacket designed by Bill Botten and the author’s photograph by Oliver Cheeseman is on the rear panel.

The book has original black cloth boards with bright gilt lettering on the spine. The contents are lightly tanned with mild foxing on the page ends. The unclipped dust jacket has bright colours of the snake illustrations. Minimal wear to the spine edges and folds. Light creasing in a few places. Tiny chips  and some marks on the cover edges and corners. 8vo 254 printed pages.
