The Name of Action is Greene’s second novel. The book was initially badly received and sales of the book were poor. Graham Greene disowned the publication. So the book has remained out of print since it’s first publication.
Original dark blue boards in bright condition with gilt lettering on the spine. Minimal wear to the boards. The contents are clean with a few minor spots of foxing. The original dust jacket is a second issue state with 3/6 net on the spine. Chipping and some loss on the top edge of the spine jacket. There is a closed tear and small hole on the front fold. 8vo 344 printed pages.
