A bright, first edition of the classic book, Winnie-the-Pooh, A. A. Milne complete with unclipped dust jacket. Decorations by E. H. Shepard. 7/6 NET  marked on the spine of the dust jacket and 117th Thousand on the rear flap. Original green boards with gilt illustrations and lettering. Small damage on the rear board and light bumping on the front board. Clean contents and illustrated end papers. Top edge gilt. The dust jacket is chipped with loss to the spine ends, fold and corners. Toned spine colour of the jacket and a few marks. 158pp 8vo
