Inscribed and dedicated by Kipling on the front free pages: “To G. L.  without whose generous help this little book would ever have been written, 1911″.

Original grey paper boards with black lettering on the front board. Strip spine browned. Some marks on the edges of the boards. Light wear and clean contents. Frontispiece illustration intact. With tipped in photograph on green paage between pages 24 and 25. 5 x 8″ 49 printed pages.
