A very good condition copy of posthumous collection of twenty-five essays on the art of fiction and biography. This Granite and Rainbow first UK edition is complete with a dust jacket and the scarce wrap around band which has been repaired.
Original bright blue cloth boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Browned pages and very clean contents. Tight bindings. The unclipped dust jacket is bright with browned spine colour. Light chipping and slight loss to the lower edge of the spine. The rear section of the wrap around band is original and the front is replaced with a piece missing and lettering faded on the spine section of the newer section. Internally repaired band with tape. 8vo 240 pp.
