The original edition of Captain Slaughterboard was published early in the war but the warehouse containing all the edition was bombed in the blitz. Complete with unclipped dust jacket. Original pale oatmeal cloth boards lettered in green on the front cover. Two tiny marks on the front cover. Clean end papers and contents. Illustrated throughout in black and white (with spot-colour highlights). Printed on blue, pink, yellow, white, and grey paper. Minimal wear on the dust jacket and overall the jacket is in very good/near fine condition. Square quarto.
