A first edition rebound copy of Martin Chuzzlewit in very good condition. First state with all first points are per Smith page 66. A rare find.
Rebound with three quarter marbled covers with minimal rubbing. Loss of green cover on rear edge of the top spine. Raised bands imprinted with bright gilt patterning. Imprinted patterning on the green material. Previous owner’s sticker on the front end page and small area of the marbled front free page rubbed off. Spotting on the illustrations. 8vo 624 pp.
