Original blue cloth boards with black lettering stamped on the cover and gilt lettering on the spine. A green shield stamp cut and stamped into the front cover. Wear to the edges and corners. Darkened spine with frayed ends. Maroon coated end papers with frail hinge. The contents have foxing in places with a darkened page on page 192 as a result of a newspaper insert. 319 pages of text followed by the first state of the publisher’s 32-page catalogue, dated 5/05, and Forster not included. Missing the maroon rear end paper. 8vo
