Browse through our collection of Dr Seuss books. Theodor Seuss Geisel (March 2, 1904 – September 24, 1991) was an American writer, political cartoonist, poet, animator, book publisher. He is best known for his popular children’s stories under the pen name of Dr Seuss. His writings often employed the poetic meter of anapestic tetrameter which proved popular for children. He also used highly unique style of “rounded” illustrations for his books. His books have achieved world wide recognition with more than twenty languages translated from his books. Some of his most famous books include, The Cat in the Hat, 1957, Green Eggs and Ham 1960 and How the Grinch Stole Christmas 1957.
