A very good+ condition copy of Eliot’s book, Notes Towards the Definition of Culture, which aims “to persuade readers to endeavour to decide upon the meaning for the word “culture””. Only two chapters of the book have been previously published in periodicals. The edition is signed by the author with the written name crossed off and his signature written below on the title page.
Original pale blue boards with gilt lettering on the cover. Minimal wear and clean contents. Light browning to the end papers. The unclipped dust jacket is bright with minimal chipping and creasing to the extremities. 8vo 124pp
