This first edition is in good condition. The James Bond Dossier features the original illustrated dustwrapper designed by Jan Pienkowski. The images are based on the famous trompe l’oeil paintings by Richard Chopping and reproduced on the jackets of the original James Bond books. The book was written shortly after Fleming’s last work, The Man with the Golden Gun.

Original black cloth boards with bullet imprints on the cover with bright gilt lettering on the spine. Internally clean with mild foxing on front free page and top edges. Bindings are tight. Unclipped dust jacket (16s net). Bright illustrations on the front and rear covers. Spine in good condition with no significant wear. Minimal shelfwear of the covers. Front flap has description of the book and rear flap has the list of Ian Flemings novels. 7 1/2 x 5 1/2″. 154 printed pages plus 4 pages of a reference guide to James Bond novels at the end of the book. 8vo
