Black Spring was Henry Miller’s second published novel after The Tropic of Cancer and before the Tropic of Capricorn. These novels were drawn from his experiences in New York and Paris. This American author gained a reputation for breaking with literary norms. He wrote a varied range of material during his life including travel memoirs and literary criticism. This copy of the classic novel is the first United Kingdom edition. The book is in very good/near fine condition with an unclipped dust jacket.
