It was common for the publisher to sell the initial batch of first editions at the more expensive price of 7/6, then reduced to 2/6, with a second issue jacket, as per this copy. Original blue cloth boards with orange borders and lettering. Darkened spine colour and lightly rubbed boards. Clean end papers and contents. The unclipped dust jacket is bright with only light wear. Internal tape repairs to the top and lower edges. 8vo 331pp with 8 pages of advertisements at the rear.
