Harvest of Journeys contains several articles written for the American magazine, Holiday. It is a record of Innes’ travels over the previous ten years as he gathered material for his novels. The book contains twenty four black and white photographs from his adventures. This first edition Harvest of Journeys is in good condition.

Original red cloth boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Internally clean with mild foxing on page edges. Bindings intact. Some browning on white free end pages. Unclipped dust jacket ( 18s net) which has some tears that have been repaired with sellotape. Jacket design by H. Bridgeman Grimley. Colours are bright for a book of this era, with some browning on the rear cover. Front cover has illustrated letters. The rear panel lists five of the the novels which he wrote as a result of his travels.  8vo. 319 printed pages.
