Green Hills of Africa is the American author’s second work of non fiction inspired by his month long trip to Africa in 1933. Initially serialised in the USA Schriber’s Magazine. This is the first UK publication of the book. A very good copy without a dust jacket.
Original green cloth boards with gilt lettering on the spine. the spine is faded and discoloured. Top edge of the pages are coloured. The contents of the book are very clean and the bindings are tight. Light spotting of foxing on the page ends. There are fine black and white illustrations throughout the text. 8vo 284 printed pages.
