A rare find of this first English edition of A Floating City with 42 full page illustrations. Original blue cloth boards with black and gilt illustrations and lettering. Rubbing to the boards and the gilt. Bumped and worn corners and spine ends. Faded spine. All edges gilt. Signature on the front paste down. Front and rear hinge are beginning to split. Frontis tissue guard is intact. Pink stain on page 147/8. Otherwise contents are toned and generally clean. 8vo 286pp plus 40 pages of publishers advertisements.
