Large paper edition of this classic Rackham illustrated book of English Fairy Tales. Numbered 82 of 250 editions with original vellum covers. Gilt illustrations of the spine and front are bright and the covers are free from significant marks. Top edges of the pages are bright gilt. Mild wear of the edges of the velum and the covers are grubby. The contents are clean. Black and white illustrations throughout the text. Bindings are  good – a little cracked on the end pages. Tiny book sellers stamp on front paste down. Sixteen tipped in colour plates with tissue guards with minimal wear. The inner hinges are repaired. 4to. 11 x 9″ 363 printed pages with four pages of advertisements at the end of the book.
