A.A. Milne’s first book of prose containing a collection of twelve children’s fantasy stories inspired by the well known colour pictures of Le Mair (known as Saida). A Gallery of Children was compiled between his famous book of When We Were Very Young in 1924 and Winnie-The-Pooh in 1926.

Pale blue cloth boards with inlaid colour-pictorial to front panel and gilt lettering. Spine darkened and grubbing. Wear to edges and ends of spine. Internally clean with twelve colour plates for each story. Age toning with light foxing. Free from marks and bindings tight and tidy making for a clean copy. 4to – over 9¾ – 12″ tall. 105 pp.
