White’s children’s novel is considered to be a classic of children’s literature relating a story of Wilbur the pig and his friend spider, Charlotte. Initially published by Harper & Brothers in America in October 15, 1952, it became hugely popular and was published in the UK the same year. Forty seven black and white illustrations by Gareth Williams throughout the text.
Light blue cloth boards with red lettering on the cover and spine. Slight bumping to corners and small loss of colour to top of the spine. Bowed boards. Presentation dedication on the front free page. Contents are clean and mildly browned. Clipped dust jacket has darkened spine and worn edges. Colours of the illustrations remain good but browned. 1cm tear on lower edge and on top of the spine. 170 printed pages. 8vo
