Burgess, an English writer and composer, wrote a variety of novels and critical works. The book, 1985, was inspired by George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty Four with the story line projecting a new future based on observed social changes.
Original blue cloth boards with minimal signs of wear. Intact end pages and very clean contents. The unclipped dust jacket has minimal signs of shelf wear. The edition has lightly brown flaps of the dust jacket. Slight lean to book. 240 pp 8vo
