Two Volumes of Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe published in 1755. ” The Life and Strange Surprising Adventures of Robinson Crusoe, of York, Mariner: Who Lived eight and twenty years all alone in an uninhabited island on the Coast of America, near the mouth of the Great River of Oronoque; Having been cast on shore shipwreck, where-in all the men perished but himself. With an account how he was at last as strangely delivered by Pirates.”

These two volumes of Daniel Defoe’s well known story are both in very good condition. They are both bound in leather binding with ridges across the spine. ‘gilt borders around the front and back covers. Wear to the spine ends. Volume two has missing front endpapers. Both editions have writings on the end papers. The black and white illustration on page 28 of volume one has a 2″ closed tear. Generally clean contents with minimal wear. 4 x 7″
