Thy Servant A Dog First Deluxe Edition told by Boots by Rudyard Kipling:

This is a collection of three charming tales of a dog, told through the animal’s eyes, in typical Kipling style. The book contains “Thy Servant A Dog”, “The Great Play Hunt” and “Toby Dog”. The story of Thy Servant a Dog was originally published in the American magazine, Liberty in June 1930 and then in a UK publication (illustrated by G. L. Stampa) of the Cassell’s Magazine in August of that year. The three stories were combined in the same year by Macmillan & Co and this publication is a 1st edition of that book.

Marbled end papers. All edges gilt. Blue ribbon in situ. With black and white illustrations throughout. Internally clean throughout. 93 printed pages. 81/2 x 61/2″.
