A clean edition with dust jacket of this study of Ian Fleming’s 007 James Bond world by his admiring fan, Kinglsey Amis.

The James Bond Dossier is an interesting find especially as it features the original illustrated dustwrapper designed by Jan Pienkowski. The images are based on the famous trompe l’oeil paintings by Richard Chopping and reproduced on the jackets of the original James Bond books. The book was written shortly after Fleming’s last work, the Man with the Golden Gun. This first edition The James Bond Dossier is a tidy copy in good condition.

In original black cloth boards with bullet imprints on the cover with bright gilt lettering on the spine. Very good condition of the boards. Internally clean with mild foxing on front free page and top edges. Bindings are tight. Unclipped dust jacket (16s net). Bright illustrations on the front and rear covers. Spine in good condition with no significant wear. Minimal shelfwear of the covers. Front flap has description of the book and rear flap has the list of Ian Flemings novels. Contains fourteen chapters. 7 1/2 x 5 1/2″. 154 printed pages plus 4 pages of a reference guide to James Bond novels at the end of the book.
