Ernest Hemingway wrote to a friend in 1950 ” If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast”. This is book of Hemingway’s time in Paris from 1921 to 1926. The copy is in very good condition with an unclipped dust jacket.
Brown cloth boards with bright gilt lettering on the spine. Minimal signs of wear. Grey marbled end papers and very clean contents. Top edges of the pages are red coloured. The dust jacket has bright colours. There is a 1″ patch on the front cover. Corners and folds are lightly worn. The jacket was designed by Hans Tisdell. 8vo 192 printed pages.
