A first edition of this classic book, Goblin Market by Christina Rossetti. Printed by R.Clark of Edinburgh in 1933, and not to be confused with the 1939 reissue, published by Jarrold. With four colour illustrations by Arthur Rackham as well as nineteen black and white drawings throughout the text. The book has an unclipped dust jacket and is in very good condition.
Pictorial cream limp covers printed in yellow, brown and black depicting goblins and fruits. Clean and unmarked covers with yapp edges. Minimal shelfwear and only very lightly browned covers. Illustrated clean end papers. Page edges are untrimmed. Title page has some staining. Light spotting within the book of some pages. Slim octavo, 45pp.
